Woodway police released surveillance photos Wednesday of two women wanted in connection with the theft of a cart full of groceries from the H-E-B store on Woodway Drive.

The women managed to load up most the groceries and drive off before officers who responded to report of the theft on April 27 arrived, police said.

The groceries were valued at about $300, police said.

The women escaped in a white Chrysler van with California license plates.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Woodway police at (254) 772-4470.
