Woman robs local bank

BELTON, Texas (KWTX) Belton police responded Monday afternoon to a report of a holdup at a local bank.

The robbery was reported just after 3:20 p.m. at the BBVA Compass Bank at 313 East Central Ave.

The female robber handed a teller a note that said she had a gun, demanded cash and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported.

The woman was wearing a dark colored top and shorts, authorities said.
