Killeen police confirmed officers were dispatched to the Bridgewater Retreat Apartments in the 600 block of West Hallmark Avenue in reference to Nathan Erick Nance.

Officers could be heard shouting orders for Nance to come out of an apartment and search dogs were also released.

Police say Nance, 43, was not located on Sunday.

He is accused of randomly shooting in the neighborhood Thursday morning. No injuries were reported but property was damaged, according to police.

A day-long search Thursday ended hours later after "an exhaustive search for Nance occurred without locating him." At a press conference, police also said Nance was a resident at the apartment complex.

A criminal investigation continues.

No other details were released.
