WACO, Texas (KWTX) A report of a body in the Brazos River led to an hours-long search that came up empty Tuesday

A caller reported seeing what appeared to be a body in the river Tuesday morning below the low-water dam south of the Baylor University campus.

Waco firefighters, McLennan County deputies and game wardens searched from boats and from the air, but found no sign of a body.
