ALPINE, Texas (KWTX) The reward in the search for missing Sul Ross State University Student Zuzu Verk, 22, doubled again Monday, from $100,000 to $200,000.

Authorities have covered hundreds of thousands of miles from the air and on the ground in the search for Verk, who’s been missing since early in the morning on Oct. 12, Alpine police say.

Investigators have also searched several landfills, police say.

Her boyfriend, Robert Fabian, told officers he last saw her on Oct. 12.

He reported her missing two days later, but police say he has refused to answer questions since then.

Fabian's attorney, Liz Rogers, said she had no comment Monday.

Verk is 5-feet tall, weighs about 110 pounds and has blonde hair and hazel eyes, police said.

Her original hair color was brown, but she recently colored it, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Alpine Police Department at (432) 837-3486.
