Reward increased in unsolved 1994 Texas murder case

AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) The reward for information leading to an arrest has been increased to as much as $6,000 for information leading to an arrest in the unsolved 1994 murder of a Texas woman.

Laura Warren, 25 of Corpus Christi, was reported missing on Oct. 26, 1994 and five days later her body was found south of Beeville.

Before her death she was seen with a man at a Budget Inn near Shoreline Boulevard and Interstate 37 in Corpus.

“Although Texas Rangers and local law enforcement have worked many hours on the investigation, all leads have been exhausted in the case,” authorities said in a press release.

To be eligible for the reward, tips must be submitted through the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS.

Tips may also be submitted through the Texas Ranger Cold Case website.
