WACO, Texas (KWTX) A rollover crash was backing up traffic on Interstate 35 Thursday afternoon in Waco.
The three-vehicle crash was reported at around 1:40 p.m. Thursday in the northbound lanes of the highway at Valley Mills Drive.
"Several if not all lanes are shut down causing significant delays. Please take alternate routes to avoid the area until the crash can be cleared," Waco police said in a brief Facebook post.
The traffic backup stretched for two to four miles, the Texas Department of Transportation said.
The crash scene has since been cleared, but police responded to several other crashes on the highway in Waco including one at the Waco Drive exit that was backing up southbound traffic.
In all, Waco officers responded to seven accidents on the highway early Thursday afternoon.
