Shipt launched its services in Killeen and Temple on Tuesday making grocery shopping at H-E-B a little bit easier.

Shipt is an online grocery marketplace that gives customers a way to select and pay for groceries online or from their phone.

Founded in 2014, Shipt has expanded across the nation and offers personalized grocery delivery to over 25 million households.

By purchasing a membership for $99 per, customers will have access to items available at H-E-B and unlimited deliveries free on orders over $35.

With one click, customers are connected with a Shipt Shopper who will personally hand pick their groceries and deliver them to their front door.

Lauren Jacob has been a Shipt Shopper for two years and says she has come in contact with a variety of people and loves being able to help when needed.

"A lot of people don't realize how hard it is to go to the store when you aren't able bodied. Some people just don't want to have to go to the store. But others can't get out of their house,” Jacob said.

“So if we can alleviate that and make it more convenient and easy for them then that's what we are here for."

Shipt also expanded its delivery services to College Station, San Antonio and Austin.

Although Tuesday was the first day for the app in the area people are already catching on to the idea of letting someone else do the shopping for them.
