CRAWFORD, Texas (KWTX) The powerful storm that rumbled through Central Texas Tuesday produced two tornadoes rather than one, the National Weather Service said Thursday.

The two EF-0 tornadoes touched down Tuesday northwest of Crawford.

The short-lived tornadoes caused only minor tree damage along Highway 317.

Neither was on the ground for long.

Students at both Crawford schools were moved from classrooms into hallways for about 45 minutes after the tornado warning was issued.

They returned to class at around 8:40 a.m.
