WACO, Texas (KWTX) Before the rain Saturday cut short“Waco Pride Network’s “Out on the Brazos 2018” event in Cameron Park, plenty of people still enjoyed the day’s events.

Vendors lined the sidewalk, as people could enjoy music and some skits and nibbles from a food truck.

This is the second year organizers have hosted such an event.

Before the rain, organizers said they expected Saturday’s attendance to top last years.

On Friday, Waco Pride Network raised more than $400 during Out on Austin, an event at Cultivate 7Twelve included an art auction, raffle and light refreshments.
