Suspect sought after shots fired at local hotel

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Killeen police were looking for a suspect after shots were fired early Wednesday at a local hotel.

Officers responded at around 2 a.m. Wednesday to a report that someone was trying to enter the office of the Hallmark Inn and Suites at 4500 East Central Texas Expressway through a rear door.

Officers were told the suspect fired repeatedly at the caller and then ran, police said.

No one was injured.

Officers weren’t able to find the man, but surveillance cameras recorded images of him.

The suspect is black with an average build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a beanie style hat, police said.

He has a beard and a mustache.
