WACO, Texas (KWTX) An unattended package that prompted a campus-wide alert at Baylor contained diapers, authorities said Wednesday.
The alert was issued Tuesday morning after the package was found outside the Tidwell Bible Building on the Baylor University campus.
An all-clear message was sent at around 11:30 a.m. Monday, about a half hour after the alert was sent.
“The package was assessed, and it was not found to be anything that would harm the community,” university spokeswoman Lori Fogelman said.
Baylor police called the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the investigation and deputies determined "the unattended package...is not a threat to the campus," an updated alert said.
Students, faculty and staff were asked to avoid the area until the all-clear was sounded.
