Temple: Park closes due to rising lake levels

Rising lake levels are to blame as Temple Lake Park closes indefinitely, according to the Lake Belton Facebook page.

In a photo posted by the page, the lake is seen submerging much of the beach.

The park says the tiny white specs are actually picnic tables and that they expect the lake to continue rising in the coming days.
