Texas high school student arrested after threat to blow up school

DENISON, Texas (KXII) A 17-year-old Denison High School student was arrested Monday after he told classmates he was going to blow up the school.

Braxton Mykal Melton was arrested for making a terroristic threat after students reported the incident to school officials, who called the Denison Police Department.

Police said no actual device or weapon was found, and no one was injured.

Melton was ordered held in the Grayson County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.
