A North Texas teenager died in a crash during a police chase Wednesday after beating his mother with a baseball bat.
The 15-year-old boy fled after the beating, which left his mother in ICU, and led officers on a chase through several Dallas suburbs.
The chase ended after police deployed spike strips, which caused the teen’s car to crash into a truck hauling portable toilets.
The teenager, whose name wasn’t immediately released, died at the scene.
Nobody else was hurt.
