Harker Heights: Three teens arrested after homeowner interrupts burglars

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) Three teenagers were arrested after a Harker Heights homeowner interrupted burglars trying to break into his home through a rear window.

Marquell Gadison-Thomas, 17 and Anthony Gibbons, 18, both of Killeen and a juvenile whose name was not released were charged with attempted burglary of a habitation, police said Friday.

Officers responded to a report of the burglary at around 3:20 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the 200 block of West Robbin Lane.

The three burglars ran, but officers found them before they could leave the area, police said.

The homeowner identified them.

Gadison-Thomas’ and Gibbons’ bonds were set at $100,000, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the attempted break-in to call the Harker Heights Police Department and Criminal Investigation Division at (254) 953-5440.
