Traffic snarled after accident near Moody

A Saturday afternoon accident on Highway 317 near Moody snarled traffic and forces drivers to seek alternate routes.

The accident was reported at around 2 p.m. and kept traffic at a standstill as crews worked to clear the scene.

Witnesses said someone may have been trapped in a vehicle after the crash and that a medical helicopter was at the scene, but authorities did not immediately release details about possible injuries.
