WACO, Texas (KWTX) Two men were in custody Tuesday charged in connection with a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon in a North Waco neighborhood.

Rajun Lionell Thornton and Latrayl Milton are charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and discharge of a firearm in connection with the drive-by on Mitchell Avenue near the old Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center campus.

Their bonds total $500,000 each.

They’re also both held on Texas Department of Juvenile Justice warrants.

Investigators say they recovered shell casings at the scene on Mitchell and at another location a short distance away.

Two juveniles who were also in the car at the time were detained and later released to their parents.
