WACO, Texas (KWTX) Waco police are investigating a weekend shooting that sent a man and a woman to a local hospital.

The shooting was reported Saturday near the intersection of Hood Street and Harlem Avenue.

One caller told police she had been shot in the foot, but didn’t see who fired the shot.

Another caller reported that a man who wasn’t wearing a shirt ran from the area.

Officers found two victims when they arrived at the scene of the shooting at 1320 Hood.

Cesseline Govan had been shot in the left foot and a man who identified himself to officers as Delishea Davis had been shot in the left hip area, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Officers later determined that the man’s name was actually Nathan Parham and that he was wanted for a parole violation on a cocaine charge, Swanton said.

Both victims were taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center.

Police didn’t have information about their conditions.

Investigators recovered multiple shell casings at the scene, Swanton said.
