Two-vehicle crash sends 4 to local hospitals
A two-vehicle crash Thursday at a busy Killeen intersection sent four people including two children to local hospitals.
The accident involving a pickup truck and a GMC Envoy was reported at around 10:20 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Central Texas Expressway and Rosewood Drive.
The pickup was westbound on CTE and the driver of the Envoy was turning north onto Rosewood from CTE at the time the collision.
The collision left the 26-year-old woman who was driving the pickup trapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters freed her and she and her 3-year-old passenger were taken to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple.
The man driving the Envoy and a child who was riding with him were taken to Seton Medical Center Harker Heights.
The intersection was closed for about an hour because of the crash.
