Authorities are looking for a vehicle that clipped a school bus carrying Rogers Middle School students and chaperones on a field trip Monday to Austin.
None of those on board the bus was injured, Rogers Superintendent Joe Craig said in a message to parents.
The accident happened Monday morning on the southbound interstate near West Amity Road.
“While driving down the highway, another vehicle drifted toward our bus and side-swiped the bus,” Craig said.
“The other vehicle then pulled away and left, without us being able to get a license plate.”
The bus received only minor damage and the trip wasn’t interrupted, he said.
The incident was reported to law enforcement, Craig said.
