Waco: More than $51K in stolen property recovered

WACO, Texas (KWTX) McLennan County deputies have recovered more than $51,000 in stolen property after a three-month investigation including antiques, guns, a pickup and a 20-year-old Chevy Camaro, Sheriff Parnell McNamara announced Monday.

Eight people have been arrested in connection with the thefts, but their names have not yet been released.

Deputies recovered fireworks, antiques, 12 guns, three guitars, jewelry, TVs, a 1999 Ford F-250, a red 1999 Camaro, a blue 1975 Honda motorcycle and a Bobcat excavator.

The items were stolen in 30 burglaries, McNamara said.
