Waco: Police make arrest in food truck generator theft

Waco police have made an arrest in the theft of a $5,000 food truck generator

The generator was stolen from one of the trailers used by Cute for Rodeo BBQ in August.

After investigating, officers obtained an arrest warrant in September for Cecillio Cruz Herrera charging theft over $2,500, but under $30,000, but he remained at large until last weekend, when he was pulled over for a traffic violation.

He remained in the McLennan County Jail Monday, where he’s also held on a failure to identify charge.

His bonds total $6,500.

Another suspect identified in the theft remains at large.
