Cameron Park Zoo hosted their annual Christmas party this Saturday.
Guests were able to take pictures with Santa, make Christmas ornaments and bird feeders.
They also got to take a ride around the zoo on a train.
“It’s been so awesome, so magical, the kids have loved seeing Santa, making crafts and riding on the train. It has been so fun for them,” zoo guest and mother Sara Brawner said.
This year the event was open to all guests in the zoo instead of only zoo members.
Membership Manager Kristi Webb coordinated the event. She said it was important to her that all guests were able to partake in the holiday fun.
“This is a way for us to engage with our visitors in a different way and it's a way to give back to the community and have them enjoy something fun at the zoo during the holiday season,” Webb said.
Webb said this is the 5th year they have done the Christmas party. She said they plan on continuing Christmas at Cameron Park Zoo next year and continuing to leave it open for all guests.
