WACO, Texas (KWTX) Friday marked the four-year anniversary of the Waco Twin Peaks Biker Shootout.
On May 17, 2015, nine men died and many more were injured when a turf war broke out between rival biker gangs, the Bandidos and the Cossacks, in the restaurant's parking lot at Central Texas Marketplace.
177 bikers were arrested in connection with the bloody brawl that's resulted in zero convictions so far, and likely never will, after newly elected McLennan County District Attorney Barry Johnson dropped the remaining cases last month.
The restaurant was briefly taken over by Scotty's Brewhouse, which has since closed.
The building remains vacant but is currently available for lease by Turner-Behringer Real Estate.
