WACO, Texas (KWTX) The Waco Mammoth National Monument celebrated its 10th anniversary Saturday with events taking place throughout the day.
Families could enjoy activities such as a petting zoo, dig site, and cake.
The events were all free.
The National Monument also asked a number of guest speakers to come out, including Paul Barron, the man who discovered the site's first bone.
The park is open to the public daily since 2009, and was designated as a National Monument in 2015.
