Work on the Mary Avenue Market in downtown Waco is almost finished.
The market will house several businesses including a furniture store, a gourmet pie shop and a cast iron creations vendor.
Developers are hoping to settle on a few more vendors and most importantly, a new restaurant for the space.
The realtor for the market, Gregg Glime, said the space is almost fully booked.
He’s hopeful final decisions will be made within a month.
“We have 4,000 (square) feet left that we've designated as a food and beverage spot anywhere ranging from burgers to a brewery to wood fired pizza. We've got a lot of really neat concepts and we're really hoping to have something identified and pinned down in the next 30 days,”Glime said.
The development is just steps away from Magnolia Market in the Silo District.
Owners are hoping to open doors in early 2017.
