While many were competing to win at the Ironman competition on Sunday, one relay group was running to raise awareness.

"Anybody can do anything," says Jeff Walburn who's participated in many Ironman events in the past, after receiving a new liver 12 years ago.

Sunday he, Donna Pierce, and Jodi Harskamp all took part in the Ironman relay that was held in Waco.

"To be able to share in that with these two other people, it's just an amazing thing," says Pierce who did the swimming leg.

Pierce a recipient of a heart valve, while Harskamp donated her kidney to her co-worker.

"If I had another kidney to donate I would do it tomorrow," says Harskamp who says the surgery hasn't slowed her down.

"There is nothing more fulfilling than helping another human live," she said.

The 3 participants all agree that organ donation is a huge need, and hope their actions can inspire others to look at organ donation.
