The Waco Transit System Monday announced it’s setting a 10-passenger limit on its buses, vans and trolleys as part of the effort to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The transit system is also asking its passengers to practice social distancing by maintaining a distance of at least six feet from others.

The system’s fixed route schedule service hours have been changed to 7:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

Demand response service hours won’t change, but trips will be limited to medical appointments, grocery stores and essential work.

For the latest service information, residents may call (254) 750-1613 or (254) 750-1900.
