Firefighters respond to late-night call at local recycling business

Firefighters responded to a call at around 11 p.m. Sunday to a call at M. Lipsitz and Company at 4205 East Loop 340 in Waco.
Fire officials said the fire broke out in a pile of scrap metal near a conveyor.
Damages are estimated at around $750,000.
M. Lipsitz and Company is listed on its website as a recycling company that serves "individuals, industry, and commercial customers.”
