Waco: Rapoport Academy students help celebrate Lemonade Day
Lemonade Day took place Saturday across Central Texas.
In Waco 64 students from the Rapoport Academy helped booths at 12 different locations.
Children sold lemonade but also learned about business.
"They have to create a logo," says Rapoport Academy teacher Natalie Ward, "they learn how to communicate with customers and then obviously how to create a great cup of lemonade."
Students donated the proceeds they made from lemonade sales to various charities of their choice.
In total the Waco area had 29 stands selling lemonade Saturday afternoon, according to the event's website.
