BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) Walmart is expanding its new online grocery pickup service to its stores in Belton, Killeen and Copperas Cove, the company announced Thursday.

The service allows customers to order groceries online and pick them up at curbside without ever having to get out of their vehicles.

Pickup service begins next week at the Copperas Cove Walmart Supercenter at 2720 East Highway 190, the Killeen Walmart Supercenter at 1400 Lowes Blvd. and the Belton Walmart Supercenter, at 2604 North Main St.

The service will also be offered beginning on June 20 at the Walmart store on Franklin Avenue in Waco.

Customers can place orders and select a time to pick them up through either the Walmart online grocery website or the Walmart Grocery mobile app.

When customers arrived to pick up orders, they’re provided with designated parking spaces and designated numbers to use to alert a store employee who will get the order and load it into shoppers’ vehicles.

“At Walmart, we have always been known for saving our customers money and, with services like grocery pickup, we are also saving them valuable time,” said Adan Campos.

“Our customers have told us that grocery pick up is a game changer. They are now able to complete their grocery shopping in a matter of minutes – between errands or on their way home from an after school activity – without even unbuckling their seat belts.”

Walmart rolled out the service in a handful of cities in September 2015 and has steadily been adding markets since then.

The service is also offered in Amarillo, Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
