A 34-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after leading authorities on a chase through Falls County.

According to the Falls County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to a home in Reagan in reference to a domestic violence call.

When they arrived, Rebecca Escobar got into her car and took off towards Highway 6.

Escobar had recently bonded out of jail after being arrested last Monday.

Falls County Sheriff Ricky Scaman says spike strips were set up near the sheriff's office. After driving over the spikes, Escobar continued driving on two flat tires, Scaman said.

She was eventually taken into custody after ramming into a deputy's vehicle near Clark Street in Marlin.

She is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault against a peace officer and evading arrest in a motor vehicle.
