Woman charged in robbery of bank in local H-E-B
A woman named in a warrant stemming from the robbery of a bank inside an H-E-B store in Temple was in federal custody Tuesday afternoon.
Briana Joyce Holamon, 22, was arrested Tuesday morning without incident, Temple police spokeswoman Shawana Neely said.
She was taken to a federal holding facility in Waco, Neely said.
The robbery was reported just before 3:40 p.m. Monday at the First Convenience Bank inside the H-E-B at 1314 West Adams Ave.
The woman entered the store, went to the bank, and demanded money, police spokeswoman Neely said.
Police aren't sure if the woman displayed a weapon, she said.
The woman escaped in a gray or blue four-door Ford with an undisclosed amount of cash, she said.
No injuries were reported.
