Killeen: Woman accused of robbing local bank at gunpoint arrested
Eboni Siamone McMurray, age 23 of Killeen, who’s accused of robbing a bank at gunpoint Wednesday in Killeen, is named in a federal complaint unsealed Friday charging robbery, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a press release Friday.
The robbery was reported at around 5 p.m. Wednesday at the First National Bank at 4304 East Central Texas Expressway.
Employees told officers that the woman entered the bank, walked up to a teller, displayed a weapon, ordered the teller to “fill the bag” and fled to the south with about $2,500 in cash, the complaint alleges.
Investigators were able to identify McMurray’s vehicle through surveillance video and arrested her Thursday at her home without incident.
If convicted, she could face as much as 25 years in prison.
She’s scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate for a detention hearing on Tuesday.
