A pair of Lady Bears were selected in the 2017 WNBA Draft Thursday night. Alexis Jones and Alexis Prince.

Jones was selected in round one, the final pick of round one in fact. Jones went 12th in the draft to the Minnesota Lynx. Jones was an All-American this season for Baylor and helped lead the Lady Bears back to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Alexis Prince was taken in the third and final round, 29th overall by the Phoenix Mercury. Prince had an injury riddled career at Baylor but had her best and healthiest season as a senior helping her earn a spot in the WNBA.

The one big omission this year was Baylor's Nina Davis. Davis, a 2-time All-American and 2-time Big 12 player of the year went undrafted. That created quite the uproar on social media as many wondered how Davis could go undrafted through three rounds.
