The Rogers Eagles and Crawford Pirates are two teams that won't start district games for a couple of weeks. But Friday night, Rogers will try to stay undefeated, while Crawford will try to avoid losing for the second straight week in this week's Zimmerman law Firm Marquee Matchup.
Rogers-Crawford earned 61% of the vote, followed by Salado-Connally (25%) and Midlothian Heritage-La Vega (14%).
It was a defensive struggle in the first half when Rogers (4-0) and Crawford (3-1) met at the home of the Eagles last season. Crawford scored 14 points in the third quarter before Rogers responded with 15 in the 4th to win the game 24-21.
Rogers has scored at least 50 points in all four games they've played this season, while Crawford gave up a season-high of 27 last week to undefeated Holland.
