After a successful 2017 campaign, the Baylor Baseball team is back on the field.
The Bears opened spring practice on Friday, three weeks before their season opening game.
The expectations are high for the Bears, who got back to the NCAA Tournament last year for the first time since 2012.
But despite last years turnaround the Bears are striving for even more in 2018, according to Sophomore Catcher Shea Langeliers.
"I'd say it fueled the fire more, because getting a taste of being in the postseason, even though we were only in it for two games, we want to be back and we want to go further."
The Bears open up their season against Purdue in Waco on February 16th.
