The event, in its eighth year, is a collaboration between Shriners Hospitals for Children and Baylor Baseball to raise funds and spread awareness for the international health care system that provides care regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
Baylor Baseball and Shriners Hospitals for Children have a long history of working together to improve the lives of children. In 2017, Baylor University competed in the 17th annual Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas and have also visited patients at the Houston Shriners Hospital for five consecutive years.
