Baylor avenges earlier loss to Sam Houston

WACO, Texas The Baylor baseball team avenged a loss earlier in the season to Sam Houston with a 9-5 win at home Tuesday night.

Davis Wendzel had 2 hits and 3 RBI in the win for Baylor, Cole Haring had 3 hits and a pair of RBI, and Mack Mueller had a 2-run double for the Bears to lead the offensive attack.

5 Baylor pitchers combined to keep the Bearkats in check throughout the night allowing a lot of hits but only 6 runs in the win.

Baylor will next head to Lubbock to face Texas Tech in a 3-game Big 12 series starting Thursday evening.
