WACO, Texas The Baylor Bears are a #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament regionals, but they got a tough draw when the committee decided to send them to UCLA where the Bruins are the tournament's top seed.
Baylor learned on Sunday they'd be a #2 seed in one of the regionals. They just never imagined it would be that regional site. The Bears say they believe they are one of the best #2 seeds in the tournament field. Instead, the NCAA committee sending them to UCLA makes them out to be one of the lower #2 seeds.
That's motivation the Bears plan to use starting Friday when they play in the regional tournament.
Baylor opens up on Friday afternoon against Loyola Marymount, then they'll face either UCLA or Omaha on Saturday. It's a double elimination tournament.
