Baylor baseball selected as No. 2 seed in Los Angeles Regional
For the third time in four years under the direction of head coach Steve Rodriguez, the Baylor Bears have advanced to an NCAA Regional.
Baylor (34-17) earned a No. 2 seed in college baseball's annual postseason tournament. The Bears will play Loyola Marymount (32-23) Friday at 3 p.m., and will face either No. 1 overall seed UCLA (47-8) or Omaha (31-22-1) Saturday.
The Bears made a trip to California as a No. 2 seed one year ago, but dropped a pair of games to Cal State Fullerton and host Stanford.
