Baylor beats Texas in double overtime

The Baylor Bears survived double overtime to beat Texas in Austin Monday night 74-73. The win is Baylor's fourth straight.
Terry Maston scored 26 points for Baylor, Manu Lecomte added 16 and Jo Lual Acuil scored 14 as Baylor won in double overtime. The Bears started fast and led throughout the first half.
Texas rallied in the second half to get back in the game, forcing overtime with some late free throws that tied things up at 56 apiece. Four Longhorns scored in double figures, including Kerwin Roach II who hit two free throws to send the game into a second overtime.
Baylor finally prevailed in the second extra session, outscoring the Longhorns by one to get their fourth straight win. The win moves Baylor to 6-7 in Big 12 play and one game ahead of Texas.
