WACO, Texas The Baylor Bears have finished their workouts in Waco and will now head to Houston to begin final preparations for the Texas Bowl next week.
The bowl workouts have gone well according to Matt Rhule on Thursday. Rhule says it was good for the young players to get a lot of extra reps and even try out spots they don't normally play. He says it's also been good for his upper classmen and maybe most importantly for team unity. Rhule believes his team is more bonded than ever before.
Rhule says the Bears have worked hard in the last couple of weeks and the game plan is ready. The players know it, the players are prepared, and now they can go to Houston and enjoy the festivities. Rhule does stress that his players know the ultimate goal next week is to win a football game over Vanderbilt.
