WACO, Texas The Baylor football team opens 4 weeks of spring practices on Wednesday morning.
The Bears are coming off a 7-6 season that included a win in the Texas Bowl in Houston. So there was obvious improvement in year two under Matt Rhule.
Rhule said Tuesday there are more areas where the Bears can be better including turnovers, protecting the quarterback, and red zone offense and defense. That being said, Rhule says a big part of spring workouts is development of players and the team.
Rhule says he thinks the Bears can be better in 2019 and part of that is having an elite mindset this spring and in fall camp.
Baylor's spring game is set for April 13th at McLane Stadium.
