Baylor loses to West Virginia, earns No. 2 seed in Big 12 tournament

Jared Butler scored a game-high 21 points, but the No. 4 Baylor Bears dropped the season finale 76-64 to the West Virginia Mountaineers Saturday afternoon.

Mark Vital had seven points and 12 rebounds, while Davion Mitchell contributed 15 points.

Baylor (26-4) finished the regular season having lost three of the last five games and will now be the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 Conference tournament. The Bears will play at 6 p.m. Thursday against an opponent to be determined.
