KANSAS CITY, Missouri The Baylor men are out of the Big 12 Tournament after an 83-66 loss to a hot shooting Iowa State team.
Iowa State shot the ball really well throughout the game, especially from behind the arc. The Cyclones hit 13-25 from three point range and shot 52% overall from the field. 4 Cyclones scored in double figures including Talen Horton-Tucker who led the way with 21 points.
Baylor kept the game close for much of the first half until a late rally by Iowa State made it a 9-point halftime lead. The early portion of the 2nd half was dominated by the Cyclones who extended their lead to double digits and never let that lead slip away.
Baylor was led by Mario Kegler's 16 points and Makai Mason's 14 points.
The Bears now await the NCAA selection show on Sunday to find out where they'll be seeded in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
