Baylor moves up in multiple collegiate baseball polls

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Even without their leading hitter Davis Wendzel this past weekend against Kansas State, the Baylor Bears won two of three games against the Wildcats to earn more national voting respect.

Baylor (32-13, 14-6 Big 12) is ranked No. 14 by D1Baseball.com and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. The Bears showcase a No. 15 mark in the Baseball America poll.

Baylor, which has a half-game lead over Texas Tech (33-14, 14-7) Big 12) in the conference standings, has nine days off between games.

The Bears return to action against UT-Arlington next Tuesday, and then wrap up the regular season with a three-game series at Oklahoma State. The Cowboys recently swept No. 3 Oregon State in Corvallis.
