Baylor softball falls at Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. (Baylor Athletics) Baylor (15-20, 2-7) dropped the second game of the series to No. 2 Oklahoma (34-2, 5-0), 8-0, in five innings Saturday night at Marita Hynes Field.

The Sooners plated three runs in the first inning before the Lady Bears kept Oklahoma off the board in the bottom of the second. Hannah Smith built off that as the sophomore recorded the first hit of the game for Baylor in the top of the third with a single through the left side.

All of Baylor’s hits came with two outs as Goose McGlaun roped a double off the wall in left center field in the fourth inning, and Josie Bower hit one to left field in the fifth inning.
