Baylor using bad weather to prepare for West Virginia

WACO, Texas The Baylor football team is using a bye week and rain to its advantage as the Bears prepare for West Virginia. The Bears were out in the elements Wednesday afternoon as part of their work before going to Morgantown next week for a primetime showdown.

Baylor is coming off a tough loss at Texas. The bye week should help the Bears rest and get healthier heading into the final stretch of the season. It will also help them prepare for the highest ranked team in the Big 12 right now.

Matt Rhule says he wishes it was even cooler outside so his players can be ready for potentially chilly air next week. He also says working out in the rain helps his players prepare for a bad weather scenario.

Baylor is 4-3 on the season and 2-2 in Big 12 play.
